My fourth UK coast to coast trek following on from the Great Glen Way ( • Great Glen Way Trek: Scotland coast to coast ), Wainwright’s Coast to Coast Walk ( • Wainwright’s Coast to Coast Walk, England,... ) and the Hadrian's Wall Path ( • Hadrian's Wall Path, England, 2021 ). This one goes from Helensburgh on the west coast of Scotland to Dunbar on the east coast. Much of the route is along the Forth & Clyde and Union Canals then the south side of the Firth of Forth. Sites explored include Loch Lomond, the Roman Antonine Wall, the Falkirk Wheel, Callendar House, an extra day in Edinburgh exploring Edinburgh Castle inside and out, the Avon and Slateford Aqueducts, Avon Viaduct, Leamington Lift Bridge and assorted harbours along the coast. 31/05/22 – 13/06/22
