In this video Dr. Farkas discusses how to handle the August checkpoint which requires leaders to reflect on the summer work and prepare for the start of a new school year.
Finding Common Ground in Education believes the foundation of any successful district starts with a shared plan where all stakeholders are involved in the process.
We also believe in a yearly planning cycle which is broken down into 3 month checkpoints (February, May, August, and November). In each of these checkpoints, we spend time in reflection (reviewing the last 3 months) and preparation (planning for the next 3 months).
