This workout is called the big 3 workout because only 3 of the major compound lifts are performed for the entirety of this workout.
Compound movements like squats, deadlifts, and bench press target multiple muscles at once, which are great for increasing overall strength and size. With just these 3 exercises, you are practically able to hit every muscle group on the body.
In this workout I was aiming to go to my max lifts for each exercise, but only hit my max on bench (I didn't feel like I had enough energy to hit my maxes on squats and deadlifts).
Give this workout a try, but be sure to have a lot of stored energy to get through it! 💪🏽💪🏽
