Tragedy struck 4 years ago when the life of Vesper Mugwick, an Interpol agent following the trail of an intelligence leak, was taken in her own home.
When her 18-year old son opened the locked room and witnessed the horror within, he knew that the stranger lying unconscious next to the body had to be the culprit. The man, Hamilton Burne, was arrested and identified as a member of NEST under the alias Hummingbird.
After a trial overseen by Chief Justice Chaynes himself, Burne was put on death row for the murder of Vesper Mugwick, and treason for sabotaging her investigation and leaking intel. Thus, the SB-6 Incident came to a close.
Unfortunately, the story would come to an even more tragic end three and a half years later, the day Burne's execution was scheduled. Another incident that would stain NEST's name even further would then take place...
