Описание:
Lydford is a beautiful village situated on the western fringes of Dartmoor, around 7 miles from Tavistock.
The church bells prior to 1921 were a ring of 5 all by Pennington dated 1789, in 1921 John Taylor added the treble.
The bells handle well but are odd struck and take a little bit of getting used to as internally the acoustics could be better.
The Tenor weigh's roughly 8cwt and is in the key of G.
The video was taken on 17/03/25 and was taken from the church yard after dark.
