Описание: I was in Half Moon Bay primarily to film the raptors in the area. I've already posted several videos from this day. Today I'm sharing the White-tailed Kite footage. I love these birds. The stark white with the piercing red eyes is beautiful. And when they have their wings stretched out, showing the underside, it looks like two big eyes looking at you. And I love to watch them hover. I find it amusing that "White-tailed Kites hover and Red-tailed Hawks kite". But my favorite part of this video is when the White-tailed Kite transmogrifies into a Northern Harrier. It happens at 3:02 in the video. That section is not edited (except normal color grading), that's exactly how it occurred. First it's a Kite, then it's a Harrier.
