Odisha Assembly Budget Session Phase 2 Begins Today | Opposition Ready to Corner Govt

Описание: ଆଜିଠାରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେଉଛି ବଜେଟ ଅଧିବେଶନର ଦ୍ଵିତୀୟ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟ। ପ୍ରଥମ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟ ପରି ୨ୟ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଗୃହ ହୁଲୁସ୍ତୁଲ ହୋଇପାରେ।

The second phase of the Odisha Assembly Budget Session has started from March 9 and will continue until April 8. Like the first phase, intense discussions and debates are expected in the Assembly.

The opposition is likely to raise several key issues including mandi mismanagement, farmer suicides, the Mahanadi water dispute, law and order, and unspent budget funds to question the government.

During the session, question hour will include discussions on departments such as Finance, Home, General Administration, Public Grievances, Health & Family Welfare, Parliamentary Affairs, and Electronics & Information Technology.

Budget discussions for different departments will begin on March 10, while the Appropriation Bill is expected to be passed on March 31. The session may also see political heat due to the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections.
