A few weeks ago, I went to the international photography festival in Olten (IPFO), without any specific expectations. There, I was impressed by many artists, but one interested me in particular: Martin Oeggerli aka Micronaut, a science photographer that is now exploring how images of the invisibly small can be translated into artistic expression. I was very excited by the idea of creating surrealist landscape images thanks to the use of a scanning electron microscope.
