Counterweight System for my Alaska Chainsaw Mill: a game changer for chainsaw milling.

Описание: I have been creating timbers and beams out of my Alaska Chainsaw Mill. I use both a Granberg saw mill and a vertical saw guide to shape the lumber. It’s often back breaking work. Then I had an epiphany. What if I used a counterweight system with a cable and pulleys to draw the saw through the log and I just guided the saw rather than pulling or pushing the chainsaw. This video documents me working through the process perfection and results in an inexpensive home-made product that solves many of the inherent problems with Alaska Chainsaw Mills.
