Описание: Hello all and welcome to Stingray Tom's Florida

FYI: This video isn't about Florida. My Granddad traveled around the Great Lakes region back between 1908 to 1912 along with his 2 brothers and he was an avid photographer. He and his brothers used dry glass plate cameras that took quite a bit of effort to use. Imagine carrying a large box camera, tripod and a leather box filled with a dozen or so glass plates. They took 3 trips, starting from Chicago through the Great Lakes on old steamers. There are photos from the western shore of Michigan, Mackinac Island, Detroit, Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Starved Rock State Park in Illinois, which had just been created the year before. Enjoy!
