Exploring Darocotan Island, PALAWAN, PHILIPPINES | Dryft Glamping (Will the showers work?)

Описание: Welcome to our journey to Darocotan Island.

Darocotan island is an island off the tip of northern El Nido, Palawan.

How to get there:

Once you have a reservation, you can coordinate with Dryft to pick you up in El Nido. It was a 50 minute van ride from Mahogany Beach Resort in El Nido, to get to Teneguiban Pier where we then took a 15 minute boat ride to the island.

What to Expect:

Overall, the experience was very unique. The lack of internet and the people really gave yourself a chance to be yourself and relax. Though if you are looking for an island to party on, this island is not for you. When were there, we were amongst other couples who would keep themselves throughout the whole trip. The island is perfect for an intimite experience.

Food and Drinks:

Dryft creates a new menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday. The dishes they cook up are really delicious, it felt like an extra added experience. Though not a party island they do service alcohol. You will love their cocktails, and for the Filipinos watching the names of the drinks are fun.

Activities:

Besides laying down on the beach, they offer paddle boarding, snorkeling, and do some island tours to the island north of El Nido. There is an old Japanese shipwreck off the opposite side of island from Dryft's location. In the video you will come across a painting which lets you know what kind of animals you can expect to see while snorkeling. You may lounge around the main area (dining hall) to play some board games or nearby play some volleyball and beach soccer.
