We have a crate to transport the motorcycle in and now it is time to clean the motorbike and put her in crate. Take care of the last affairs and a late night looks inevitable. First the bike needs to be cleaned well with the pressure cleaner before it goes in a transport crate. Cleaning under the fenders is essential otherwise on the other side of the world you might end up paying for quarantine or cleanings costs. After comes the task of dismantling parts of the motorcycle to get it to fit in the crate for air travel. Pretty tight turns out and a lot is coming off. Hopefully the straps, bubble wrap and tape will keep the bike from getting damaged on the way. Smaller crate will cut the the cost of the air freight a bit. After a long night the motorcycle is ready to fly to South America. Now we wait for an air cargo slot to become available for the motorbike.
