Your favourite film as a unique poster print with a hidden portrait. All frames of the movie scanned to show characters and scenes
Imagine if you could view your favourite film as a single unique poster- but with a hidden image...
By scanning the central column of pixels of EVERY frame of the movie, and the combining these columns, we were able to trace the image as a subtle line art portrait
Your movie starts at the top right hand corner and scans its way across the print at 30 degrees. Wrapping around the edges in such a way that you can follow the ebb and flow of the film. You will be reminded of memorable scenes, characters, action and colours
AND - when you view the print from afar, a subtle portrait of a memorable character or scene from the film will be revealed
The process is one comparable to slit-scan-photography, but we've done it with a WHOLE film!
