"Breathtaking views in Perth county!"...
This is what country living looks like: Pure Perth beauty the white tailed deer grazing along the edge of a wooded area. I had seen 8 adult deer and unfortunately one deer's partial remains along the scenic adventure. There was one huge deer and it was the largest I've seen in the wild, they had secretly approached me along the edge of the woods. When I slowly turned they quickly stopped, turned, and then said good bye by joyfully "flagging their white tail". I had also quickly noticed an injured area on the deer's hind end when they turned, it was close to the tail. But fortunately the deer appeared to be very active, grazing, & joyfully running. I'll check again in the area to make sure they are doing well, and if not they will be reported to wildlife authorities. Fun moments was viewing for my first time a rare sighting a daytime cute possum with an adorable wiggle. The curious possum was running through a field and stopped along the way to peek inside a tree stomp. Unfortunately the possum didn't stop to clearly show me his adorable face. Nature at its best!
