"I put this squarely up on the responsibility of the people who bought this complex and have milked it for every dime you can get, clearly, because they are not overseeing the quality of life here," said Syracuse Mayor Sharon Owens, standing in front of a burned out building at the Nob Hill Apartments, following a deadly fire Saturday morning.
"This is absolutely unacceptable. And our and the mayor's office has had a history. And you better believe under my administration will continue to go to the courts for people who do not do what is required to keep their residents safe, their buildings clean."
