//English Recipe for Chicken Ketchup Chinese Style
Main Ingredients :
Chicken – 1
Red Onion – 1 bulb (chopped)
Garlic – 10 cloves (sliced)
Ginger – 1/4 piece (sliced)
Green Chilli – 5 pieces
Ginger & Garlic Paste – 2 tbsp
Dark Soy Sauce – 4-5 tbsp
Light Soy Sauce – 3 tbsp
Sesame Oil – 2 tbsp
Corn Flour – 2 tbsp
Scallions – 2 stalks
Salt to taste
Method :
1)First, in a pan with medium flame add garlic, ginger, green chilli & onion. Sauté them till onions soft.
2)Then, add in ginger & garlic paste. Fry a while. Now, add in the chicken. Fry again.
3) After that, add a little water, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, sesame oil & salt to taste. Mix them. After mix, close the lid & let it cook for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, open the lid & mix again.
4) In a separate bowl, add corn flour and a little water. Mix it. Pour the mixture into the pan & cook them. This is to thicken up the sauce. Finally, add some scallion & fry. Done!!
