The UCLA Rapid, Rigorous, and Relevant (3R) Implementation Science Hub hosted a Beachside Chat entitled “The Intersection of Policy and Implementation in HIV Research and Practice” on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 10 AM – 11 AM PT.

This chat will be moderated by Alison Hamilton, PhD, MPH and Chunqing Lin, PhD. This chat will be an interactive discussion on the ways in which policy is relevant to, and informed by, implementation research and practice. Through HIV-related examples, we will discuss how policy considerations can influence research design, implementation strategies, outcomes, and impacts.
