The Hold – Guided Breathwork Session for Stillness and Nervous System Reset.
The Hold is a guided session originally recorded inside my private community on Skool.
It’s designed to shift your state through conscious breathing and structured breath holds — moving from gentle activation into deeper awareness, stillness, and regulation.
This practice is built around the power of the pause. The breath hold creates a controlled rise in CO₂ that helps recalibrate your system, strengthen interoception, and allow the nervous system to reset.
This session moves through four structured phases, each followed by a hold:
Belly–Chest–Exhale breathing to build awareness and controlled activation
Breath holds to settle the system and increase CO₂ tolerance
NSDR protocol for relaxation and downregulation
Use headphones and lie down in a quiet, safe environment for best results.
This method supports:
Regulating the nervous system through cycles of breath and stillness
Expanding CO₂ tolerance and emotional capacity
Building resilience by learning to stay present in the pause
Reconnecting with the body through gradual downshifting
