This video shows how Dragonfly can be used to accurately track the location of a forklift inside a warehouse. One monocular camera has been installed on board and Dragonfly is able to compute the location using just the video stream, without any external sensors, and to provide centimeter accuracy.
The video is 5x accelerated and shows the performance inside a 15,000 sqm venue. The location is computed in real time and it is possible to collect location data and create spaghetti diagrams and heatmaps showing the historical movements.
Dragonfly exposes API so that it can be integrated into multiple applications. Likewise, it is possible to use Dragonfly to provide the precise location of autonomous robots: Dragonfly is a flexible visual SLAM technology that can be adapted to multiple devices and use cases.
