Описание: The Alekerange Community Development Working Group is comprised entirely of Indigenous people, all residents of Alekerange community. The role of the Working Group is to plan and initiate projects for the benefit of the Alekerange community (about 400km north of Alice Springs) using funds that belong to the Traditional Owners of Alekerange. The Working Group is tasked with planning and prioritising projects and when those plans are ready, presenting them to the broader Traditional Owner group who sign off on funding decisions. The initiative is about Alekerange Traditional Owners and residents controlling their own resources and using them to make decisions and carry out projects for the benefit of their own community.
