The Iranian missile frigate Dana was torpedoed by a US Navy submarine off the coast of Sri Lanka in international waters, marking the first submarine torpedo sinking since World War II. The Shahid Soleimani, a corvette, was destroyed near the Strait of Hormuz. Admiral Cooper of US Central Command stated that no Iranian ships remain operational in the Arabian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, or Gulf of Oman, and confirmed that US forces are hunting Iran's remaining mobile ballistic missile launchers. The campaign has struck over 2,000 targets, effectively neutralising Iran's naval presence in the region.
