Inspired by the story of well-known 19th Century Ophicleide player Sam Hughes, who was famous for playing this aria. As I didn't have an Ophicleide yet, I tried it on my Saxhorn made by A.H Rott, pre 1868, a wonderful vintage brass instrument.
