This is a Josef Lidl Brno Flugelhorn. It was just a nice little treat to myself . This flugelhorn stood on someone's mantelpiece for years as a decorative piece. The photo on Marktplaats caught my eye, and my offer was accepted. Upon arrival, it turned out to be a Josef Lidl Brno. I thought it would be fun to see if it was still playable. It turned out to be quite good; aside from the jammed tuning slides, which were quite easy to loosen, the valves needed cleaning and new rubbers, but after that, the instrument was perfectly playable again.
