About Daniel
Daniel is a serial tech entrepreneur, investor and growth expert who was given his start by YPO angel investors when he was 21 years old. He sold his first two venture-backed companies and joined Airbnb full-time where he managed a half-a-billion-dollar book of business in his mid-20s. He went on to start Key which raised 8-figure in venture funding and is backed by the government of Canada.

Daniel has served in regional and global roles for YPO as an active member of YPO Northern Lights as well as the Global Champion of Angels in YPO. Since inception, Angels in YPO has hosted private monthly fireside chats with top angels and entrepreneurs such as Reid Hoffman, David Sacks and most recently, Tim Draper.

Daniel has also been named Top 30 Under 30 and has participated as a Canadian G20 Delegate in both China and Turkey as a voice for supporting youth entrepreneurship. He's on the board of the Peter Thomas GSEA Foundation, the board of the League of Innovators, and his $100mm venture fund is partnered with the world's largest youth entrepreneurship non-profit, Junior Achievement, to launch a fund to invest in the 10 million youth that Junior Achievement reached every year in 100 countries.

On a personal level, he likes to stay active with his family. You can find Daniel on the Grouse Grind with his toddler and he once completed a spontaneous 100km race along the Great Wall that took him 27 hours non-stop.

About Oskar
Oskar Hartmann was born in 1982 in Kazakhstan, moved with his family to Germany at the age of 8, and then to the USA at 17 to study English.

Hartmann pursued a degree in International Economics at WHU University — Otto Beisheim School of Management, earning accolades as a top student. His academic journey took him to diverse global locations, including internships at esteemed multinational companies like BMW in Malaysia, Boston Consulting Company, and GameGoods UG in Cologne.

Having received education in Germany and the USA, he began his entrepreneurial journey in 2010 by creating Sapato and the first Russian TV shopping channel, Shopping Live.

In 2012, Sapato was acquired by Ozon, and the sale of his stake in Shopping Live enabled Hartmann to launch a series of successful online projects, such as Teamo, Carprice, Relevant Media, HomeMarket, Aktivo, Vitaportal, AutoSpot, Iqcard, and Hlebnoe mesto.

Oskar Hartmann's transition to venture capitalism solidified his status as one of the world’s most successful business angels. As a co-founder and partner of Fast Lane Ventures, Simile Ventures Partners, and LARIX funds, he meticulously curated a portfolio that spans over 70 companies.

Thanks to his determination, innovative approach, and ability to find promising niches, Oskar Hartmann is one of the most famous and influential entrepreneurs in the Russian internet industry.
