I feel like tons of tweaking and fussing with the Dwarf version was put straight into this unit. It's good, it's competent, but it's not going to dominate Giants on its own. Key words, "on its own". If you're using them as backup for a competent ranged arsenal, you should feel satisfied with the results, and it's still a slightly more expensive variety of dirt but still dirt cheap as artillery goes, and easily available.
