After wild camping in the area a few weeks before, I returned to complete an excellent hike in this beautifully remote part of Snowdonia. I enjoyed challenging climbs, scrambles, summits almost as high as Snowdon and plenty of solitude. Weather conditions went downhill near the summit of Carnedd Llewyllen ( 1064m ) but thankfully I managed to find my way off the summit without too much trouble.
This really is a special part of the national park and one I can't wait to go back and visit again.

Length: 14km
Climbing: Around 1000 metres altogether
Duration: 5 hours

Sheep: Many along the way.
