Описание: A traditional song (Roud 4181) said to be about black train robber Morris Slater, from Alabama who operated in the 1890s. This recording was made at Bonnie Beecher's flat in Minneapolis in May 1961. Dylan recorded the song during the Self Portrait sessions in March 1970 but this wasn't released until 2013 on Another Self Portrait (1969-1971): The Bootleg Series Vol. 10. The song appeared in print in the early 1900s, and was first recorded by Will Bennett in 1929.
