Why You SHOULD be EGO LIFTING

Is "Ego Lifting" always bad...or does it actually have some merit. I'd say...yes!
However, keep in mind that you should NOT use poor technique when ego lifting, nor max out, nor simply choose the movements that allow you to move the most weight. Nor should you really ever sacrifice any of those to impress yourself or anyone else. They are non-negotiable!
But ego lifting DOES have some good aspects to it. Merely investing a part of yourself into CARING about your lifting results...is a good way to get better results! Keep a training log. Remember your personal bests, and your recent workouts. Just care about getting better. That's ego. And that's OK.
