For the past few weeks, my weight has been stuck between 109kg and 110kg.
No gain. No loss. Just frustration.
And with my goal this year to run a sub-20 minute 5K, I know the weight has to come down to make running easier.
So this week, I’m making two important changes:
✅ Back to tracking calories properly (no more guessing)
✅ 5AM runs to separate cardio from gym training
I’ve realized trying to squeeze running and weights into one gym session was causing me to rush both — and not progress properly in either.
This morning’s result?
🏃♂️ 32:20 for 5K — over 2 minutes faster than a few weeks ago.
So even though the scale isn’t moving, progress is happening.
This episode of The 40-Year Reset is about adjusting the plan when things stall — because after 35, fitness isn’t about doing more… it’s about doing the right things consistently.
