The ANC Johannesburg Region members and supporters once again came out in their numbers from all corners of the city to stand firmly behind the City of Johannesburg and the Executive Mayor.
This marks Day 2 of the High Court proceedings on 03 November 2025, after the case was postponed from Friday, 31 October 2025. The matter follows the Socio-Economic Rights Institute (SERI) taking the City of Johannesburg to court over the City’s ongoing clean-up operations, claiming alleged harassment of illegal traders operating along city streets.
The ANC Johannesburg Region has reaffirmed its support for the City’s mandate to restore order, cleanliness, and safety in public spaces — ensuring that Johannesburg remains a city that works for all its residents.
