Episode Details –
In this episode we setup our banker to transfer items, pickup the overflow, buy bank / inventory slots, and transfer currencies.
Notice: We missed a bug here that causes the Amount To Deposit & Amount To Withdraw to remain when using the button events, because we didn't reset them at the end of the event, or reset the widget. So make sure to set them back to zero at the end of the on clicked events, we cover this in a bonus video.
Project Details –
In this Unreal Engine tutorial series we go step by step through the process of building a crafting and gathering game system, full of fun facts, design habits, and neat tricks to help make Game Development in Unreal Engine Blueprints easy.
This project should be beginner friendly, although it focuses more on intermediate level designs and systems.
In this Blueprint Only series we will be making a detailed Items Data Table, Custom Gathering Nodes, Crafting Benches, Crafting and Gathering Player Classes With experience points and levels, a simple Inventory System, a simple Bank System with Storage Chests for holding items, and a simple Trade system to buy and sell items from NPC’s.
This system primarily uses Interface events to transfer data without relying on hard dependencies, making it modular and reusable for many various needs.
We also demonstrate use for an Equipment system.
