Constructed from kershef (a mix of salt, mud and clay), the fortress once protected the local community from desert attacks. After heavy rains in the 20th century, large parts collapsed, leaving behind dramatic ruins that blend perfectly with the desert landscape.
Walking through its narrow passages feels like stepping into another world – raw, silent and shaped by nature itself.
