Some said the moon wept only for itself, others that its tears held no power at all, just cold water and old grief of a never-ending story. No one could say for certain whether the elixir was real, or whether it was simply a way to give hope to those too weary to continue. But with their strength nearly gone and the road behind them heavier than the one ahead, the boys decided that uncertainty was still better than standing still.

When they finally reached the place where the moon’s tears fell, the air itself seemed to hum, not with a song they could name, but with a quiet resonance that settled deep within them that felt like songs of healing and restoration. Kneeling at the pool, they drank, not knowing if it would restore them or change nothing at all. The power that returned did so gently, shaped by memory rather than force, easing what had been broken instead of rewriting it. The rumor had never promised miracles, only healing and as the echo of that unseen melody lingered in the falling water, the Lunar Boys lingered and rested for some time, while their strength renewed....knowing that sometimes belief itself is the first step toward being whole again.
