With a mix of video examples and discussion, presenters Mary Starr, Executive Director, Michigan Mathematics and Science Centers Network; and Kathy Renfrew, K-5 Science Coordinator, VT Agency of Education address the NGSS in grades K-5. They discuss three-dimensional learning, performance expectations, and background information on the NGSS framework for K-5, and share examples and tips on how to approach the NGSS with students.
