INGREDIENTS
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion, diced
1 Tbsp garlic, minced
4 fresh medium roma tomatoes, diced
1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & pepper, to taste
2 cups vegetable broth

DIRECTIONS
1. Simmer olive oil in a pan on medium-high heat
2. Add onion and garlic and sauté until tender
3. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, basil, & seasonings
4. Reduce heat to medium and cook until tomatoes soften (6-8 minutes)
5. Add vegetable broth, cover, and turn heat to low
6. Allow soup to simmer over low heat for 5 minutes
7. Remove from heat, let it cool, then pour into BlendJet XL Jar
8. Blend for 1-2 cycles and pour into a bowl
9. Serve with grilled cheese and enjoy!
