Did you know that there is a Buddhist temple in Hongdae, which is a hip place for young people these days?
JustBe Temple Hongdae is a Buddhist temple that runs the templestay program and is also a guesthouse which backpackers are familiar with. Until now, approximately 2,000 visitors from 30 countries worldwide have visited this place, and is now gaining recognition as a hip place for young people from all corners of the world.
Through the practice of Buddhism, JustBe Temple Hongdae’s ultimate goal is for the younger generation to learn how to take control of their lives.
This temple operates the Buddhism service, meditative practice of 108 bows,
as well as cultural programs like meditation, free dance, tea ceremony, and yoga.

젊은이들의 성지인 홍대 중심가에 ‘사찰’이 자리하고 있다?! ‘저스트비 템플’이란 별칭을 갖고 있는 홍대선원은 배낭 여행객들에게 친숙한 게스트하우스와 템플스테이를 접목한 독특한 운영 방식으로 지금까지 약 30개국의 2천여 명이 방문! 글로벌 젊은이들이 찾는 힙한 장소가 되고 있다. 불교 수행을 통해 전 세계 청년들이 삶의 주인공으로 살아가도록 하는 것이 홍대선원의 최종 목표라고~
예불과 108배, 좌선 등의 기본 프로그램부터 명상, 프리댄스, 다도, 요가 등 다양한 문화 프로그램까지~ 도심 속 사찰에서 특별한 하루를 소개한다.
