Hey, if you’re looking at Digital Storefronts, one of the things that was kind of a concern of mine, and this may be the same issue for you, is there’s all this outside chatter going on right?

Friends, people that have maybe seen you try other things.

I bought all kinds of things, my wife will probably attest to that.

I tried all kinds of other things, Amazon, MLMs.

I’ve tried all kinds of different things and we never honestly really made very much money at it.

So when we were looking at this and we were talking about this, one of the concerns that people have, and I’m sure my wife probably had it, was about, what if this doesn't work?

Like, what are we gonna do?

Do you remember how we were gonna have to pay for this initially? I wrote it down on paper and I showed you all of that initially, like, it was gonna be so much money per month.

And I was nervous.

And you were probably scared because we had tried this kind of stuff before. We were in the middle of building a business at the time too.

We had nothing to lose at that point.

Yeah, we had nothing to lose, we had another business, we were trying to figure out how to do it.

What did you think if we wouldn’t have been able to like, make it?

Like, what if we had started this and paid all that money and didn’t actually produce any money?

I just figured you’d have to think of something else but I knew that you could do it.

Yeah, trust that it would work.

It was very scary putting it all on the line.

Yeah cause we basically said “hey, we’re just gonna try to do this” and we didn’t have the funds really to pay for it.

We just had to keep trying.

We just had to keep doing it over and over again.

What do you think has changed over time as people have seen us be able to do this and thrive and, like your parents even, what do they say now?

They’re awfully excited about all the things that we’re able to do and the fact that the dreams that we’ve had have all come true, and they’re continuing to come true.

You built sites when we initially started, which you had never built a website in your life.

You did the books when we started, now you help with some of the sites that we have out there because we have hundreds of digital storefronts that we have to keep track of.

We even brought our daughter into it, we’ve talked about that before.

She bought her first jeep through what we’re doing, she’s added another 4 or 5 grand worth of tires onto that.

We still use her in the business to do stuff even though she’s off at college and able to do all that kind of stuff.

She’s able to go to school without actually having to go to a job and she’s able to work around her schedule, so that has been wonderful for her.

Yeah, so we’ve been able to give her an ability to create some income while she’s at school. It helped you and me with the business.

So what would you tell somebody if they were looking at this and they were serious about it and they were like, “ what if I can’t do this, what if my spouse doesn’t want me to”?

Like, what would you say to somebody that’s like “ I don’t know if I want to do this and take that risk” knowing what we’ve been through the last 5 years?

I think it is scary, but I think it’s worth taking the risk, and you’ll amaze yourself.

Even now that we travel around, and before long we’ll go back to camp and we’ll camp this summer and do all that kinds of stuff, and it gives you the time to be able to go do those things.

And then we retired you out once and then we brought you back in.

But the goals are still the same.

So, for those families that are looking at doing this as a family thing, we got a lot of spouses that help each other.

Oh yeah.

I know when we started this there was fear. There was risk.

We literally, all three of us got together, we built sites together, we did all of it in the beginning.

Well, it actually made us closer together as a family.

Yeah, it pushed us as a family to do that.

Now you’ve heard it from the spouse, so if your spouse is trying to figure out if that’s something that maybe is a good idea or not a good idea, hopefully this will help you to know what my wife thought as she went through that process with me of seeing me go and try things and fell and then seeing me pick this up and within a short amount of time it literally replaced our income.

So, hopefully that’ll help you along as you’re trying to make this decision.
