🎨 ART JOURNAL Flip Through | Collab With Angela | My Journal 📗

Описание: Thanks for watching again! Since May, 2021 I worked in two art journals with Angela Smit. We both bought a Dina Wakley media journal for this collaboration, so we both would be a book in the end.
We simply started working on random pages throughout the journal and left some spaces for the other one to fill. This is the large book, my book.
This is the first part, I'll be posting a video with the second part soon. Also, I will upload a video with the background stories behind the images: What I've learnt and the effect on my art process.

For me the biggest challenge was to work with white spaces and to use flips and layers in the book. The book really inspired me to work differently.
Most of the time I had no plan in mind. Many faces popped up.

For me, sometimes it was hard to decide whether a page was finished or not.
I could simply wait and see what Angela would do with the page. It was a big surprise every time I found the book in my mailbox.
The biggest surprise was that we found each other in the same themes…
And even we’re listening to the same music, not knowing it from each other.
Interaction via art is a magical way and does give something extra in your art process.
