How can we all live with a deeper connection to the natural world?

Creativity and the Cycles of Nature explores the richness of the seasons and gently guides us to remember the Earth and how her cycles are our cycles. This workshop offers an opportunity to integrate our creative work with the cycles of the Earth.

Through a series of written prompts, photographic images, and conversation, participants in this workshop will explore how to integrate writing practices, exercises, and seasonal prompts into their work. Reflective prose is offered to be with the changes we experience as the seasons shift. By connecting deeply with nature in our work, we can shift our relationship with ourselves and be with the patterns of our natural world. Participants will leave with a stronger bond with their natural surroundings and how it impacts their creative work.

Bio: Midori Evans is the founder of Midori Creativity (Midori Creativity: Creativity Consulting), a creativity-coaching business that helps individuals and businesses connect to their best creative selves. A lifelong creative explorer, Midori loves to travel and is a gifted writer, photographer, musician, and educator. She draws on the inspiration of the natural world in her work as a creativity coach, writer, and landscape photographer. She founded Creativity Abloom, a series of conversations about creativity and currently runs Artists Share! (Artists Share), a monthly artist critique group, and seasonal Artist’s Way group classes (Artist's Way).
