Notes** from my experiences in use, if you have some more please be advise
The sharpness on the 38mm and 40mm lens from f4 f4.5 - f22 quite similar
The both lenses are very low distortion
The lenses cost, the 903swc with 38mm F4 CF complete set is approximately $4,200, the 40mm F4 CF is for $1,500
The color contrast 38mm slightly higher and better
The lens's vignetting on the film edge, the 38mm slightly better than the 40mm
The shadow details on the 40mm slightly better
** The cost
The SWC fixed 38mm lens, The body, film back and the finder the roughly cost $2,000 - $7,500
The SWC, Super Wide C, SWC/M, 903swc or 905swc
[All are named 900 series, including the 907x the digital latest model**]
The 40mm [C CF CFE type, 500 series] appx. cost $1,500 - $2,800
The 40mm F4 FLE CFE IF is cost $5,000 - $7,000
** The weight
SWC with fixed 38mm lens the body and the film backs approximately 1450g
40mm the weight 950g lens only [the body lens and the film backs approximately 1990g]
Both of them are delivered a great images quality

** The purposes or valuables
SWC designed and ideal for the landscapes, Interiors and architectures photographers and for the serious shooters needed more skills to uses
The 40mm is ideal for photographers or amateurs who have owned the 500, 2000 or 200 camera systems and needed the quality wider lenses to covered their jobs or their personal interests is recommended
