The true story of a dive gone wrong at 24 meters. Diver panic/freeze-up. An OW certified diver, who expressed an undefined fear of depth, wanted to try a deep dive. Having plenty of dive support on that day, I decided to take this diver 1-on-1 to 24 meters, under calm ocean conditions. Around 23 meters, the diver suddenly went catatonic and gave me one of the bigger scares in my dive life.
