We visited Japan in the spring of 2025, when the cherry blossoms (sakura) were at their peak. Spring is our favorite season, and while the scenery is stunning, it’s also one of the busiest times, with popular destinations crowded with visitors. Since we had already seen most of the major tourist spots on our previous trip, we chose this time to explore off the beaten path and discover places beyond the usual attractions.
