Big, Beautiful Boho Journal Flip Through

Описание: I've been thinking of this journal as "Marley." Not to give life to an inanimate object, but she certainly has a spunky personality and loves her bling. Colors? Yes, please, she loves them all.

I've had a month of pondering about each page and what should go where and working hard making it happen. But I love the result of this challenge that I participated in. Kathleen Mower ‪@BeAgainBooks‬ challenged whoever wanted to participate to spend the month of May working from our stashes. She called her challenge #stashrestashjjc and the goal was to create something using only things you already owned. She did allow thrift finds, but no new purchases. I haven't bought any crafting things this entire month. Yay! I made this complete journal, all 138 pages, entirely from items I already had in my stash. I also used 25 pieces of ephemera that I had made previously. Hooray for destashing. I still have enough items I had set aside for this journal to create another one or maybe more. I'm not up for that yet, but I have discovered that I really enjoy the colorful Boho theme journal that I made.

So again, thank you so much, Kathleen, for this challenge and for the gentle push it gave me to stop hoarding all the things and to use them. Next time I may take on a smaller project, but this was great!

Size:
Cover--10-inches tall x 7 1/2-inches wide, lace extending beyond the cover makes it closer to 11 inches x 8 inches.
Largest page size: 9 1/4" x 7 inches, but again the lace extending makes some larger, but there are a lot of smaller/narrower pages.
Spine:
1 1/2 inches
Weight:
1 lb. 12.5 oz. (yes, I weighed her on the kitchen scale.)
Number of pages per signature:
First signature--48 pages (12 sheets)
Second signature--44 pages (11 sheets)
Third signature--46 pages (11 sheets plus one tip-in page)
