Embrace the unknown. This guided meditation practice will help you cultivate more trust in yourself, your body, and any uncertainty you may be experiencing in times of waiting.
Transcript:
Hello and welcome
beginning by finding a comfortable posture, either sitting upright, lying on your back, or any other position that feels supportive in this moment.
And once you arrive here, allow your eyes to softly close and your body to fully land into the space you are in.
Guiding your awareness to your breath. Following each inhale and exhale with a gentle attention,
noticing how with each out breath, another inhale follows.
Witnessing this innate sense of trust between your body and breath, this rhythmic flow of trust and support between this body that carries you and this air that nourishes you.
Allowing your mind to return to.
Noticing what it feels like to support yourself through this sometimes vulnerable journey. Surrendering to the wisdom of your body and being compassionate with the fluidity of your mind as you create space to simply breathe through any uncertainty arising. Gifting yourself this space of kindness, presence, and trust.
As you find yourself in this two week waiting period. It may be comforting to know that it's common for your mind to drift towards feelings of doubt and worry as you await a test. And that by recognizing these feelings as normal, you are all already beginning to form a trusting bond with yourself, your body, and your journey.
Greeting each emotion and sensation with a kind awareness. As you align more deeply with a trusting mindset,
being in this awareness, invite your body to relax deeply into the surface supporting you. Letting go as you allow your limbs to loosen and your muscles to soften as though you are melting into this moment with a calming sense of trust and ease
visualizing here. Someone you deeply trust and allowing them to come to the forefront of your mind, noticing all the little details of this person, their face, body, language, clothing, and presence.
Experiencing a wave of gratitude for this connection you are sharing in this moment and taking this time to silently ask your confidant, how can I fully trust this process?
Allowing whatever answer that comes through to be. And letting it land at the center of your body like a pebble, dropping into a tranquil still lake, feeling it flow in and then ripple through. You coating your entire being with a sense of trust and ease.
Remaining present in. And continuing to listen here to whatever arises, surrendering into a trusting presence a little while longer, with compassion towards yourself and this experience. Expanding your breath slowly and deeply, and seeing if you can sense more relaxation occurring. Observing that wherever you are in this journey, you are supported by the lovely trust and presence within you.
Slowly bringing your awareness back into this space around you. And back into the natural rhythm of your breath
and taking all the time you need to out this meditation. Feeling free to sit for however long you would like soaking in this time with yourself as you mindfully move forward into the rest of your journey.
