So today I'm going to be walking you through the process of replacing the turbo and oil cooler seals on a GM 1.4 Ecotec engine found in a variety of small GM products like the Cruze, Sonic, Trax, and Encore. These turbos tend to crack the exhaust housing causing low boost codes and a check engine light. I'm re-sealing the the oil cooler because in the future if the oil cooler develops a leak, the only way to fix it is to remove the turbo once again. So, to prevent and future repairs I'm doing both repairs at the same time.
