One of the most common errors we see in rowing is when people fail to set themselves up to take a proper, powerful rowing stroke. Very often the problem begins at the back of the stroke, where people miss swinging their torso forward and getting their shoulders in front of their hips.
Ultimately that means lost power and lost meters! In this Back to Basics drill video, we're showing rowers, coaches and fitness professionals alike the pause drill: the perfect drill to help anyone get in the correct body-over position.
