Описание: This session spotlights the unique housing barriers faced by 2SLGBTQIA+ communities—particularly veterans, Indigenous, and Black community members—while highlighting peer-led solutions that challenge systemic exclusion. Presenters will share findings from a groundbreaking study on 2SLGBTQIA+ Canadian veterans, shedding light on the long-term housing impacts of military discrimination and the LGBT Purge. An interactive workshop will follow, inviting participants to explore the “key ingredients” for co-creating inclusive housing programs led by lived experts and rooted in cultural safety, mutual care, and community-defined priorities.
