In this video, we take you to the picturesque Kas Pathar in Satara, Maharashtra, a destination that captivates visitors with its breathtaking floral displays and rich biodiversity. Known for its seasonal wildflower blooms, Kas Pathar is a haven for nature lovers and adventure seekers.
The Kaas Plateau is about 28 km west of Satara. Kaas Lake, located on this plateau, supplies water to the city of Satara. The Kaas Plateau was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Site protected list in 2012 because many rare species of flowers and plants are found here. This place is not only a center of attraction for tourists but is also important for scientists and researchers.

The Kaas Plateau is located near Satara in the Sahyadri mountain range of the state of Maharashtra. The Kaas Plateau is located at an altitude of 1,213 meters above sea level. During the rainy season, from the month of August to the month of October, this plateau is laden with wildflowers of various colors and types, such as red, yellow, blue, white, etc. These flowers are natural, and various species bloom in turn from August to October, and these flowers last for about 2-3 weeks.
