Behind every young 💫 The Importance of a Support System for Young Dancers ✨
Behind every young dancer’s success is a network of love, guidance, and encouragement — the parents, family, coaches, and community who believe in them every step of the way. 🌟
At An Evening at the Brant Inn, Gaya & Slava, Canada’s Junior Latin Vice Champions, lit up the dance floor with their Jive demonstration — a performance filled with joy, rhythm, and the spirit of dedication. 💃🕺
Their talent is undeniable, but what makes their journey truly special is the strength of their support system. ❤️
We were delighted to have Irina, Gaya’s mom, in attendance — her pride, love, and encouragement shining brightly throughout the evening. Though Slava’s mom could not be with us that night, her support was deeply felt, as she continues to cheer her son’s incredible journey from afar. 💖
🎵 As Beverley Cayton-Tang shared, the importance of a support system extends to all dancers — including her own. She reflected on the guidance and love of her parents, Edna and Derek, and Robert Tang’s parents, Aaron and Judy, along with his sister Selina and brother-in-law Nicholas. With the dedication of their coaches, they rose to become Canadian and North American Ballroom Champions, proudly representing Canada at five World Championships. 🇨🇦✨
These moments remind us that behind every graceful step and radiant smile lies a circle of belief — parents, family, mentors, and community — who lift dreams into motion. 🌹
