Finally stopped raining so I got a chance to try out my new Pirelli MT21 tires and my new Renthal RC handlebars!
Handlebars are about 1/2" taller than stock which is nice, and the tires work really well on both street and dirt.
Handguards keep branches and small trees from grabbing my front brake lever and clutch.
I went with 120/90/18 and 90/90/21 Pirelli MT21's.
Front tire is 4mm wider than stock and it makes the bike feel a little more solid and planted.
Rear tire is 12mm taller than stock and made the gearing feel a tiny bit higher, but barely noticeable. I can still idle along in first gear with the clutch out and not stall.
I've installed a skid plate as well and those are the only mods I've done other than removing the seat strap and increasing preload on the shock.
